Soon after, she decided to take the Blog to the next level by teaming up with a professional videographer and photographer to capture a more “up close and personal” aspect of the events; which granted her opportunity to interview some of the most talented and influential celebrities in the industry such as Rebbie Jackson, Dick Gregory, Washington Redskins, Chris Samuels, R&B Group Silk, Tamala Jones, Clifton Powell, Darius McCrary, Denyce Lawton, Russ Parr,  Dr. E. Faye Williams, Angie Ange, Lamman Rucker, Chuck Brown,  LaTonya Blige, Daren Henson,  and many more.

Never letting up, Omeka had always wanted to be an actress and she was awarded the opportunity to do her first stage play called “My Father’s Keeper”, which showcased at the Legendary Howard Theatre and sold out.  As this continues to be a dream, Omeka continues working on getting her name out and working on new acting projects.

Having a background and degree in Marketing/PR, Omeka also does PR work for Chef Terence Tomlin.  Chef Terence Tomlin is the Executive Chef at SoBe Restaurant and the owner of the Upscale Dining Experience.  It is Omeka’s hopes and dreams to become an Actress, Entertainment Host and host her own television show.  As she has had her hands in several ventures, Omeka is always putting her talents and gifts into motion, and this is only the beginning.
